Flower Harvest Assistant

(Open 2024)

We are looking for one or two harvesters to add to our 2024 crew. About 14 hrs/week. Hours are 7am-2pm Mondays and Tuesdays for a strong Spring production schedule April-June, a short break in July, and Fall production August-October. This position is a rich addition to a creative flexible lifestyle. Experience on a farm is helpful but not required. Ability to work in all weather, lift 30 lbs repeatedly, and keep track of detailed harvest lists is a must, and a cheerful team oriented social style is a great fit. The majority of the work will center on harvest tasks such as filling buckets, picking, packing and processing flower bunches, and may include occasional farm chores such as cleaning, weeding, and transplanting. Farm Stand Worker (Open 2024)

We have several positions open for Summer 2024. Duties include setting up the farm stand, assisting customers, using an iPad register system, keeping the stand stocked and neat, and packing everything at the end of the day. You should be friendly, polite, interested in food and cooking, and able to be on your feet all day. Lifting heavy boxes of vegetables and bags of corn is part of the job. Enthusiasm, confidence, and a sense of cleanliness are desired. No prior work experience is necessary, you must be at least 16 as of start date to apply. Pay starts at $15.69/hr. Preference will be given to those who are available 30-35 hrs/week, weekdays and those who can work our full open season (July through mid October.) Flower Delivery Driver (Open 2024)

Eddy Farm seeks a person to drive a weekly flower order to Providence on Monday afternoons. Season is May through November. Hours vary depending on conditions. Experience driving a large vehicle (Transit Van) preferred, and a good driving record required. Lifting and transporting heavy but delicate buckets full of flowers is part of the job. Pay is $16/hr for about 5 hrs per week.
